The quaint town of Port Jefferson holds an annual Dickens Festival the first weekend of December. Carolers stroll thoughout town. People in Dickens garb walk around to set the mood. There are one act plays, concerts, The Christmas Carol, The Nutcracker, and a house tour of 6 historical houses all decked out for Christmas. And this year the house tour ended in the Clock Museum behind the Mather House.
